The members are extremely passionate and diligently stand up for their profession.

This is a great place if you fit the following list: * You are pursuing this job as the last in your career, only to glide over the bridge into retirement with no need/focus on any professional development. * You have not furthered the skills necessary to be productive in a business setting and are essentially unemployable. * You enjoy doing as little as possible and avoid any and all accountability. * Bonus: You fit all the above and live within 3 square miles of Park Ridge, IL. If you've answered "Yes" to any of the list above, this is the place for you. You'll see job postings that state "organization that is in active transformation", an "opportunity that doesn't come around often", and "experiment, fail, learn, and repeat". What does that really mean? The "active transformation" is non-transparency and an operating model copied from the Internet. The morale is extremely low and there are PLENTY of staff who openly discuss their intent to pursue other opportunities as soon as possible, some already in the process of interviewing (it's amazing what you learn when getting coffee). Leadership is largely facilitated by Harvard Business Review articles, famous business leader quotes, and Chinese proverbs, however, when trying to apply any of it, it's done so with extreme hypocrisy. Culture is claimed to be a focus, yet juvenile behavior and vulgar language are commonplace. New CEO came on board and staff were expecting positive changes, but literally nothing has changed...only that of adding a leadership, C-level position with a person gravely unqualified, no experience, and no proper, formal education for that role. Several leadership staff have mysteriously departed the organization for other opportunities while the other Sr. Directors/Directors hide in fear and do anything they can to keep their jobs. Since there is no transparency from above and well-organized silos exist, a large amount of staff have no idea where the organization is heading and where they fit into it. Those trying to make an impact and motivated to do so are left at the mercy of the inept and wisely depart for other innovative companies. The job market is hot and there are plenty of innovative employers and opportunities out there. This is not one of them unless you are looking to go to "career jail". Buyer beware...
