Pros

Great and growing industry with a lot of opportunity. The pay is good and the sales tools work well.

Cons

A lot of negative reviews which stem from bad management style and leadership: new recruits receive training and daily help based upon favoritism; some employees received no help from management while others taken under wing; certain employees not required to travel long distances while undesirables given low quality leads requiring long traveling distances; the company assigns leads but local management switches the best leads to the employees they like; and most importantly, all sales representatives should receive payment for sales sold. Sales is a dog eat dog job and we all understand if you don't make the daily / monthly results, we'll have to find a new place to work. The company shouldn't be allow to install sales sold and not pay sales reps when they've been paid in full. In sales you always pay the rep; you alway pay the people who carry a bag for you.

As we grow, we will continue to improve on all levels and welcome constructive criticism from former employees which we always look at and take into consideration. Thank you for the feedback.

Abusive and Ineffective

Pros

I really cannot point to a single thing that is a pro with this company.

Cons

Leadership is entirely ineffective and delegates all responsiblities to subordinates who carry the weight of day-to-day work. Directors do not manage or provide support for ongoing projects, and mid-level managers beneath directors are ignorant of their team's tasks, needs, and ongoing changes. Product launches and internal testing is left to incapable project managers, who delegate every aspect of managing the project to employees who ill-experienced to lead the project or enthusiastic ones who bite off much more than they can chew. Any kind of launch is a disaster and fails at the feet or poor management, poor leadership.

Pros

You are W2'd and do get benefits. They offer leads, offer 1 month of paid training

Cons

Extremely demanding, super stressful and high pressure to close accounts. You'll work 6 days a week, easily 10-14 hours and will be micro managed to death. They send you all over the state. The leads are not that great. They mislead and are not very ethical. Pay is very low compared to other solar companies. Ive been in the industry for quite some time and this company is nothing like the rest, they are on the bottom of the scale. Go work elsewhere and have freedom and balance

Thank you for sharing. While sales careers are not for everyone we do offer our reps a higher than average commission structure, car allowance, bonuses, rewards program, health/life insurance, 401k plan, paid training, company leads and much more.
