      Pros

      Was good high tech company to work, while it last in Sunnyvale, good spirit playing ping-pong and stay active. VP Randy was awesome player I showed him how to play correctly, talented, grateful learner. Nice memories.

      Cons

      Sold CVD to Eugenus, IXP & QXP production was quickly transfered to Korea 70% of US labor force fired, Sad story.

      Pros

      1. They will offer you a better compensation than your previous job. 2. They will send you abroad (if you like).

      Cons

      1. They will layoff you as they want without severance packages. 2. The senior people and management may use power abuse as they like. 3. The hirearchy is very strong in the Japan office. Most companies in Japan are trying to get rid of this culture, but not Aixtron for sure. 4. Some colleagues may embarrass you in front of the customers for any mistake.

      Some nice people work here

      Toxic environment where staff stay because pays reasonable. Too many "old" long serving staff that aren't open to new , modern ideas because "we have always done it like that"
