Pros

1. Good salary 2. High profile 3. Remote working

Cons

1. Unreasonable and unrealistic expectations of employees eg. 7:30am/7:30pm meetings 2. Toxic, hypocritical, narcissistic and abusive leadership who are the opposite of who they have positioned themselves to be 3. Blame culture 4. Disillusioned team with low morale 5. Team is set up for failure and often subject to disparaging, public reprimands from 'leadership' 6. The 'leaders' are bullies 7. Leadership are 'best friends' which means that toxic behaviour goes unchecked. 8. Frequent tears from staff in different departments 9. ZERO psychological safety 10. Employees are filled with anxiety and fear All of the above (and more) result in HIGH staff turnover.

Pros

- High profile clients - Client work and training programmes are top-notch - Possibility of good pay (if you negotiate) - Opportunities to stretch and acquire new skills

Cons

- Toxic management behaviours bordering on psychological abuse. Bullying, targeted harassment, frequent aggressive messages outside of work hours, excessive criticism. Employees reduced to tears on more than one occasion. - Chronically under-resourced, likely due to extremely high employee turnover (many leave after <1 year). Overwhelming workloads as a result. - High challenge, low support. - Employees regularly required to work 60-80 hour weeks with no additional pay or TOIL, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends. - Calls with employees, freelance contractors, and current and prospective clients frequently recorded without consent. - Management extremely resistant to feedback. Culture of blame and fear prevents employees from speaking up, even after leaving the company. - Clear misogyny from men in high-ranking management positions towards lower-ranking women.

Pros

- Great opportunity to work with big companies, - Very good diversity content, - Above-average pay for some,

Cons

- Very transactional leadership which uses their staff without caring about them, - Leadership constantly looks at how to overload their staff, - Staff do not get support or training but get constantly overloaded with new pieces of work, - Constant calls and emails past 6 pm and constant pressure from Leadership to work past 6 pm (I personally worked overnight more than once), - Very vague definition of success and the goal post is constantly moved, - Leadership overworks staff and does not practice what they preach in their diversity, psychology and mindfulness workshops in fostering a healthy company culture, - Toxic culture where Leadership has on more than one occasion left staff in tears, - Staff occasionally deliver and hear some overwhelming points in sessions and are not offered any psychological safety or support post session, - Massive churn in staff (staff do not stay long), - Leadership is overly focused on money and there is no care regarding staff mental health (many sessions have ended with staff in tears without support),
