    Pros

Discount, canteen, sample sales and parties

    Cons

This is a very stressful job, you will need to be answering 3 live chats at once with complete spelling and product knowledge accuracy. You will be marked every week on your emails/live chats and also get feedback from a quality team which is 9/10 negative, patronising and surprisingly full of spelling mistakes which is easily done when you’re trying to type like lightning to get through 3 live chats at once, customers are left frustrated as you can’t give one your full attention to get to the bottom and really investigate the issue and if you get a few low marks you are put on a performance plan to improve, the stress and pressure can be unbearable at times. Your flaws will be be focused on more than your strengths. It’s run very much like school too many Team leaders and management a lot of team leaders are very young and have no idea what they are doing when you ask for help they have no idea. Most sit twiddling there hair and chatting to other team leaders for the most of their shift.

    Advice to Management

Stop quality team marking emails/chats take it back to TLs doing it, the quality team make no sense with the amount of grammar errors they make in the feedback and the constant negative scores can really affect the mood of the team and individual leaving them feeling very demotivated and thinking they are not good at their job. The quality team make a lot of mistakes on the marking and having to regularly push it back to be remarked is more like us marking them most weeks and is very counterproductive and only causing frustration for the advisor and also leaving them doubt there own knowledge. Please take the constant pressure and stress away
