Pros

AbleTo product is very good

Cons

Management of practitioners is reactive, unprofessional and those of us who are WoC are being led by leaders who haven't done their own work for the ways of how to support those of us who are minoritized by race, gender, neurodiversity and life circumstances which would make fitting into the AbleTo happy meal different.

Pros

Very unique job, Learned a lot about the business of mental telehealth and the pros and cons of a for-profit model in the mental health care space. Many of your peers/co-workers are great listeners and will stand by you. Once you have a few calls you no longer fear hard conversions going forward.

Cons

The job is extremely taxing on your emotionally and mentally on top of that you have to meet ever-changing quotas and meet ever-changing expectations within those metrics. It doesn't help there is such a massive disconnect between upper management and the on-the-ground employees. Also from on-the-ground management to whom they are supervising, there is little to no meaningful support. Your day consists of having some of the hardest conversions you will ever have many times a day. Mixed with that you are evaluated on these conversions constantly by folks who in no way offer any meaningful notes. You will be yelled at by a member and told by your manager " you take too long in the bathroom". They also refuse to hire internally so it actually works against you by being an engagement specialist hoping to make a career at Able to. All of this from a mental health company.....
