      The rating department is a really great place to start in insurance in general, and at Acadia specifically.

      Cons

      Rating is considered an entry level job, so I'd you intend to make a lasting career in Rating, understand that it will always be seen as a support role. Don't get into it for prestige.

      Work life balance, ideas are listened to by senior management to improve work flow and products, great culture

      Cons

      It’s a smaller organization so advancement opportunities are very limited. Change can be slow or blocked due to the regional structure/parent company.
