Pros

Coworkers, "experience" on paper, but not in practice if in CORE Lab. Molecular, Microbiology, Toxicology has better work environment and better experience, but nothing else

Cons

Benefits are extremely expensive for a single person over $200/check! Management plays favorites on who can come late and leave early. Office gossip. Management is VERY sneaky, and lies on employees and or changes systems and SOP to cover themselves. Supervisor can't make a decision without asking manager because he is very incompetent. I have cross trained in several areas in the Core Lab, but 1 department in Core Lab not 1 person has been able to train in other areas. Probably because they are of color. I feel bad for them because they keep asking and I was supposed to teach them, but management changes their mind the day of and it's constant false promises. A lot of cliques. Night Shift versus Day Shift. No unity or communication. Management talks to people like children & are VERY DISRESPECTFUL in Tone and Speech! UNDERPAID COMPARED TO THE MARKET CONSIDERING EXPERIENCE &. DEGREE! Not worth the constant headaches coming to work everyday. Training is NOT structured

Pros

There are literally no pros working for Accu Reference aside from making your own schedule.

Cons

This is an AWFUL company to work for. I was hired as a sales rep and it was a horrible experience. My "manager" was highly unprofessional. It was my first time in this industry after an extensive medical sales background. I got 1 day of in-house training where he jumped around everywhere and absolutely nothing was learned. I took it upon myself to do my own research and train myself to be set up for success. This man was outrageous. He always had emergencies and reasons NOT to work. Eventually I grew tired of this experience and decided to leave after they completely changed my job description and required me to travel across the country, which was NOT agreed upon when I was hired and I stated I was not open to this what so ever. I spent MY OWN money to cover lunches with doctors to promote services. It was a BATTLE with accounting to be reimbursed. They were rude and extremely disrespectful and attempted to have a screaming match with me which I wouldn't engage because I'm not a toddler or an animal. I also asked payroll to get in contact with me in regards to discrepancies with my pay - it's been 3 months and I still haven't heard back. This is a highly unethical company. Keep your sanity and money and run the other way.

Pros

There aren't any pros. At all.

Cons

The pay is bad, most of the co workers are bad, and the company expects you to work near 60 hours a week but won't give you a raise or any benefits
