Losing Talent Left and Right

Pros

The company's mission statement, coupled with the dedication of individuals who genuinely care about the customers, is what truly defines the organization and drives annual renewals/MRR, rather than the product alone. While they offer a robust product, it is the positive word-of-mouth that significantly contributes to the success. Diversity and inclusion, is the best thing they offer employees.

Cons

The management team appears to deploy products and releases with insufficient regard for the end user, seemingly prioritizing the financial interests of the Product Managers instead. Furthermore, leadership seems unable to recognize the broader issues at hand, resulting in the loss of talented individuals due to one person's insistence on maintaining an in-office presence in a remote location. This situation is particularly challenging for those who are unwilling to relocate or commute at their own expense, sacrificing valuable family time in the process. To attract talent effectively, it would be prudent to establish a satellite office in a location closer to the Portland metropolitan area. Additionally, simply providing a kitchen stocked with snacks and beverages does not create a genuinely positive office environment.

Pros

The customers are what make this company worth working for. Benefit package is reasonably good.

Cons

Turnover is terrible (highest of any company I've ever worked for, or really even heard about). Management has no idea how to manage.
