It's a small company, and the pay is average and at this time there are no benefits offered other than sick pay.

Where to begin? The work isn't interesting. You will never receive a promotion or a raise. There are no benefits (health insurance, vacation time, paid holidays, etc). The owner consistently talks about how little money the business has and how broke he is. He'll tell you that he had to pull money out of his personal savings to make payroll. The owner patronizes and belittles his employees. He makes sexist, disparaging remarks about women. He also makes racist comments. Overall, it's an extremely negative work environment. Stay far away.
