Pros

okay salary for upstate ny. if you're the type of person who loves politicking to get ahead, you'll fit in great. if you haven't bothered or were unwilling to learn anything new since you graduated college in the 80's, this is the perfect place

Cons

- company has no clear vision or leadership - terrible tech stack, management afraid of ideas newer than 1999 - management demands complete loyalty and commitment but shows none in return - management is unable to say "no" to anyone, internal or external, which leads to a lot of empty promises internally and a lot of death marches from promising things to external clients without checking with the engineers to see if it's actually doable - systems team is afraid of devops and automated testing, so engineers waste a ton of time - priorities change daily and aborting sprints and features is constant - HR has some big conflict-of-interest problems. can't describe more on Glassdoor but if you interview there you'll figure it out - leadership team disappears from the office for weeks without informing people where they went - everyone is leaving / has left because people are working 60+ hours a week with no gratitude from management

Pros

At first things seemed fine and coworkers were great.

Cons

They haven’t paid their employees for 4 months now. Glen and his wife Darcie are stealing employee contributions to their simple iras for the last 3 years and not once did a company match. Glen will disappear for months without communication.

Pros

None - Very little positive to say when the company is actively stealing from employees, fails to pay employees, turns off health insurance without warning, and generally promotes a hostile work environment.

Cons

The company's downfall started slowly; paychecks started becoming infrequent (despite multiple requests, we never had direct deposit). In 2020, we were offered an IRA with a 3% match. However, it quickly became apparent that the money that was supposed to be coming from our paychecks never made it into the IRA. The real downfall was about two years ago when they hired a new COO; he was very hostile to employees: talking down to employees, threatening us when discussions about seeking legal action for missed paychecks and IRA issues were brought up or getting upset and screaming at us simply because he didn't understand the work we were doing. In September of 2023, the situation deteriorated further. The CEO/President, Glen, stopped communicating, leaving most of his employees unpaid. I received my last paycheck on 9/28/2023, unaware that it would be the final one I ever received from the company. During this period, when we did get in contact with management we were fed a string of lies by the COO and CEO to keep us working. In 2024 we never received our W-2s. The company's silence was deafening, with attempts to contact the CEO, COO, or HR usually going unanswered. I decided to leave the company in March of 2024. This situation is not just toxic; it's a clear case of severe mismanagement and illegal practices. In NYS, it’s been tough to get the state to act on investigating this company’s issues. This company's C-level officers mentioned above should face severe consequences for their actions and neglect of their employees.
