Pros

it's pretty easy to get hired, they offer free lunch on Fridays (pizza once, subs once) and there were sometimes donuts in the morning, casual dress code (no flip flips, no sweatpants)

Cons

It was a ridiculous work environment. The supervisor would play loud music, and YELL REALLY LOUDLY during the day in order to "motivate" the callers. It was impossible to hear the people on the phone as a result. They took your chair away if you looked tired or weren't all "coked up" on the phone. Desks weren't assigned and would often change each day (people who had been there a long time would "claim" a desk, however), making it really hard to feel a sense of being "at home" in your job. We were often told to lie to the potential customers, which I had a huge problem with. It was really hard to attain their targets without being downright mean and deceptive on the phone.

Great place to feel disposable

Pros

The only pro's would be that you do learn about sales and how to sell. You can definitely become a better sales person after working there because the campaign is very aggressive. Unfortunately you can learn all that in about a month and things go south from there. I did great there but chose to leave because the culture was so toxic. They fire people five days a week and hire once a week. Extremely high turnover.

Cons

Where do I even start. The pay is mediocre for the amount of work you do. There is a lot of favoritism. In my time there I saw people getting preferential treatment from coaches. I saw leads being cherry picked for certain individuals. Tons of lying from management. They promise you a lot and they fail to deliver. They like to use fear and intimidation tactics on their employees. We would be told to stand up whenever the CRO would be walking by just to put on a show for her. Your position is NEVER safe, I've seen people with great performance be let go after just two weeks of performing poorly. They fired the head of HR soon after I started working there in a very disgraceful manner in front of everyone. There was not a week when people weren't getting fired. Lead Generators, people in operations, Account Executives who had been there for years, all gone.

Absolute toxic environment

Pros

The POSSIBILITY of compensation, Training (If they like you, and believe me you will know if they don't), Free coffee, That's about it really. Leaving on Friday at 1 (if you are lead generation)

Cons

Everything else. They treat their employees as disposable. Turn over is the highest I have ever seen. They use humiliation and screaming as a motivation tactics. They promise the moon and do not deliver. The president is a complete jerk who literally called a meeting once to yell at a junior executive for apparently peeing on the seat in the bathroom (how would you even know that) Basically you feel like you stepped back in time to a primitive boiler room-type sales floor without the cool edge to it. They promote that they are all about culture but yet have absolutely none. If you ever do work there and eventually decide to leave (Which you will if you aren't fired) please don't think you will get your right and justly deserved pay. They will absolutely try and rip you off unless you threaten to go to the labor board (Almost everyone i have spoke with that left confirmed the same thing). Lead generation (entry level position) is a joke. They hire every two weeks and don't have the space for it so the whole place is incredibly cramped. Even with the astronomically high turn over because they just pump and dump people through the place. If you have a bad week or two you basically are told if you don't improve you're out...and they tell you that in front of everyone. Its an incredibly hard position where you are basically cold calling and harassing business owners across Canada and they do not spend enough time developing their biggest assets to the business which is the lead generation. Mentality is if you aren't performing immediately, we will replace you. There is zero work/life balance if you are an account executive. They expect you to come in early and stay late and they're idea of motivating you to hit your goals is to take your chair away from you or force you to stand so you literally can't sit down...for days! Half the things they do and say there are illegal and should be reported. They pay websites online to promote the place as one of Canada's best employers but do not be fooled. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
