None very hostile environment since the new revenue manager has been hired very unprofessional and acts like an office bully not an act is an office BULLY....... It's appalling that managers can have this kind of attitude and it's OK HR has not done anything about this situation name calling intimidation , treating people unfairly gossiping and laughing at other staff members on the bully calling co-workers inappropriate names..... This kind of behavior should never be done in any professional company very very sad but we are talking about Ambry Genetics not to mention the LEAD of the department does the same thing office bullying this has been known fact to Upper management and HR and this behavior is welcomed

My Co-workers are generally good people. We as a company are on the cutting edge of Genetic Testing. We have a skilled human resources team who does a good job. There is a smoothie bar/cafe that is delicious and free to employees.

Cons

There are some employees who do nothing on a daily basis and there is no one actually managing these employees to correct their bad behavior. It is obvious to everyone and really is discouraging to see these people contribute nothing yet still reap all the same perks and benefits as those who work hard. Company Morale is at an all time low. Employees are quitting and going to our competiton at a shocking rate. As people quit, They are not replaced so the workload of those that stay actually doubles or triples. This breeds internal resentment.

"management". There are some people given titles that they don't deserve. It's given based on how kiss butt you are, or how much bar time you spend with the CEO and owners. Some with higher titles don't have the schooling for what they are doing and will play favorites also. If you party with her, you will climb that corporate ladder. if you are not a part of the clique- you will be let go. It is very unprofessional. If you have any complaint you will be let go without warning. you never know if your going to have your job the next day or not- they have a high turn around.
