Pros
Pay is about median for the industry. Fellow teammates are primarily great to work with. Bonuses are decent. The work is always different. Advancement potential is limitless if you are willing to bleed green and move wherever they want you.
Cons
401k matching isn't the best. Insurance is moderately priced but coverage isn't the best. Too much touting how great Nucor is and how well they take care of employees but it'd primarily coprate lip service. They place great emphasis on safety based on caring that teammates go home the same way they came in however just like any other manufacturer safety is a priority due to the cost of injuries. Raises for the most part seem based on performance however people talk and it seems those who are "buddy buddy" with management seem to get higher than average increases.
