I am currently a employee with AHC and I have to say ,my onboard process has been the worst the micromanaging is at a all time high supervisors are very rude and unprofessional, I had a supervisor training me and she states ( You better be listening because I don’t want you asking me questions every 5 min like really a supervisor )

I have worked for American Health Connection for about two years now. I started out as a scheduler, and then moved into a supervisor position. AHC offers a competitive salary, the highest you will find for a work at home job, starting between 12 and 14 dollars an hour. They also offer insurance, promote within, have paid holidays, PTO, a retirment package, and offer raises when they are earned. The work/life balance here is amazing and fits perfectly with my home life (a mother of six, wife, a million other hats). AHC offers the ability to help provide for my family, but also be a part of my family. Employees of AHC build close relationships, offer support to one an other, and continually work together to make our department run smoothly. Upper Management has put MANY hours of hard work into creating the most up to date references and material, provided to schedules to make sure they are given the correct information to do their job at 100% capability. Upper Management is easy to get along with, and offers support when needed. AHC offers set schedules, and is a busy call center with back to back calls. I HIGHLY recommend anyone that has scheduling experience, and is looking for work at home job to apply here!- JC

Upper management has too many demands and doesn’t care about employees. I was terminated and unemployment wrongfully contested. received no documentation and no reply from human resources or previous managers. Fighting for last check and unpaid PTO.

No breaks, no training, no interaction with co workers or supervisors, low pay, the employee is required to spend 100 bucks on headsets and a desktop is required.. so if u don't have or purchase those two things you won't be able to work here!

-Micromanagement -2 10 min breaks -20 min lunch (eat fast ) -No compensation for equipment. example they require you to buy a $114 headset that does what a $20 headset could do. -No employee perks -Don't value employees -Lack Employee morale -No work/life balance -If your not taking calls NO PAY. -Don't really feel excited to work here, after reading the guidelines. Lots of yelling and termination! termination! termination!. If you do decide to apply at AHC Good luck, go see for yourself.

You get to work from home. Once you get the hang of your accounts you stay busy. The management team is helpful. You are an ACTUAL employee with benefits and a part of a team.

High call volumes can be stressful at times but manageable if you are organized. No other real cons that I can think of.
