Pros

Benefits, cafeteria, gym... I have to enter five words, and there aren't that many pros.

Cons

It may be a completely different story if you work in a different department, but if you are unfortunate enough to accept a job in the customer service department, it will basically be like showing up to your prison cell every day. Your phone monitors every single thing you do, and you have certain metrics that you have to meet for everything. Handle time, after call time, number of calls, personal time (bathroom breaks), quality scores, etc. Have to follow up with a customer via email? Better not take more than 30 seconds, because there's 80 calls holding, and your handle time has to be under a certain amount. Have to use the bathroom? You have less than 8 minutes total to use the bathroom every day. Even if you're pregnant. If you go over that, guess what. They'll threaten to fire you. Then, they pretend like you don't have a script to follow, but if you don't incorporate monotonous phrases like, "How are you, I can help you with that, Is there anything else I can help you with, etc.," they will mark you off for quality, and threaten to fire you. They don't actually just threaten to fire people, though. They do it all the time. People quit all the time. People cry at their desks. People go home and cry and wish they weren't alive. I wish I was making this up or exaggerating, but it is 100% true.

Pros

This used to be a good place to work. All things positive about the company have vanished in the last 3 years.

Cons

Let me start by stating that, if you look at reviews, note when they were written, and how long the employee worked there. There is no current employee (other than the uneducated hierarchy) that has positive things to say. This company is rotting from the inside-out. The business model presented is in no way a resemblance of what is enforced. The management is caustic. The benefit packages are being reduced to nothing, comparatively speaking. The "Employee Handbook" is expected to be followed by the employees, yet the management and executives chronically deviate from it. In fact, there is no adherence whatsoever by the higher-ups. The company has terminated employees of 23 years, 26 years, 28 years, and 37 years for NO reason. Managers. Supervisors. They are all expendable. The only ones who are NOT thus far, are the executives. And you'd better believe you won't be getting one of those positions. One management employee of 30+ years who had been there since the company's infancy, was terminated for no reason...then offered an entry level position at a drastically reduced pay rate, and the loss of all tenure that he'd acquired. This means 6 weeks of accrued vacation, benefits, etc. They are allowed to conduct business this way because of the "Right to Work" laws in the respective states that have it..which is nearly ALL the states in the country. This should be dubbed the "Right to Terminate for No Reason" law, so that it rings accurate to its purpose. The family atmosphere is nonexistent. There is no resemblance of loyalty by the management, but if you present any resemblance of disloyalty, you're done.
