I have been working at Anchor Sign full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I've worked at Anchor going on three years now. In that time I've been given good opportunities to grow and am the process of transferring to a new role in the company. The job can be stressful during peak times but that means plenty of opportunities for overtime and management actively listens to feedback. Plenty of other perks including the occasional free meal, doughnuts, and other treats. Overall it's a good place to work and I've grown a lot there. PTO policy is generous and the insurance is top notch.

    Cons

Would be nice to have a 401k match. Like I said things can be stressful during peak times as there are a lot of moving parts where things can go wrong. Turnover used to be a big issue but that has gotten much better recently as management has improved a lot of processes.

I worked at Anchor Sign full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

worked in manufacturing for 4 years when I first started things were a little rough but had a new Human Resources come in and he has helped turn it around very direct but fair person overall, will listen to employees but doesn't tolerate nonsense. Upper management has improved as well in the past couple of years. Good benefits, really good PTO now compared to when I first started. Pay improved but wasn't great. Can make decent money if you don't mind working long hours

    Cons

Long hours, No 401K match which I didn't care about when first started but now most companies have a 401K match. Really need to have a match/vestment process

I worked at Anchor Sign full-time for more than a year

    Pros

This is a great company, they are caring, family oriented and relaxed place to work. You are not just a number at Anchor you are family. Every place has people that leave unhappy but I left due to a better opportunity and at my age those come fewer and fewer now days. Anchor management team is great, plant manager is great the supervisors are great. I had read a few bad reviews and wasn't sure what to think. I can say Anchor is a place that you can work at and not feel like you are at work. GREAT COMPANY

    Cons

Not the highest pay but you can make a good living. Long hours but as a welder that is where I make my money
