Pros

Team was amazing and friendly You are not expected to work on weekends or outside working hours Salary was good

Cons

- Surprise layoffs in January, caused by issues taking too long to solve - They did not fire the worst employees, but some of the best. It’s all about the money. Most of them were in Eastern Europe and USA. - Teams were understaffed before the layoffs, so now it must be chaotic - Micromanagement - when I joined there were benefits but they were cut last summer

Indecisive management, poor processes

- My team were great

Cons

- The management team take months to make decisions - The CEO takes everything he reads from a book and implements it rather than having his own ideas - They treat people very poorly when things are going badly financially - Twice they have hired lots of people only to let them all go when things are tough

Pros

Teams are OK. Supportive and quite nice.

Cons

We had 3 rounds of layoffs in 14 months (despite promises there will be no more lay-offs). The last two, in Dec 2023 and Jan 2024 were not about company survival - they were simply about greed. After the last lay-offs the CEO "guaranteed" that everybody is now safe. Unfortunately, nobody believes that anymore. The executive team has no decision power at all - the founders are the ones making all decisions - and micromanaging everybody else, often in a Zoom call in front of many other people. There were people who resigned without even having another job - they just didn't want to be here anymore. There is general disengagement and sadness now in the company and the general atmosphere is "lay-offs waiting to happen". Everybody who finds another job and leaves is considered lucky.
