Pros

Solid tech • Industry leader in expense audit. (Gaining momentum in account payable) • Amazing client roster • Fun culture • Friendly colleagues • Sales Leaders/CXO are always willing to jump in and help AEs progress and/or close a deal.

Cons

Depending on your style, this may or may not be a con. AppZen is very fast-paced and demands a lot from its AEs. All AEs have customer accounts to farm from but must hunt for new logos in their patch. Heavy prospecting but we do have a ton of software; 6Sense, ZoomInfo, Chorus, SalesNavigator, etc… to help. If you are a hunter kind of Salesperson with a structured process and grit, you’ll do well here. If you are not, AppZen is not the right place. Metric driven culture and monitored closely. Pipe-gen, pipeline, opportunities, opportunity stages, MEDDICC, SFDC hygiene, forecasting, etc.... Not much for Marketing leads. There is a one-to-one alignment between AE and SDR/BDR, which helps balance things and provides support.
