Pros

The clients, co workers, paid breaks through out the year

Cons

Where do I begin? The turnover rate is extremely high because staff are underpaid for what their job entails. They hire new people in for higher salaries than people who have been working there for a long period of time. Annual raises happen months after they’re supposed to and they don’t even cover the cost of inflation/cost of living. Lunch breaks are supposed to be 30 minutes but they’re typically way less due to lunch times being when clients transition to and from school. There is no opportunity for employee growth.

While we appreciate you sharing your feedback, we are disappointed to hear the compensation fell short of your expectations. We strive to provide our team with competitive compensation and benefits, and would encourage anyone with concerns regarding their compensation to reach out to their direct supervisor. We would encourage any team member with concerns regarding lunch breaks to reach out to Human Resources at humanresources@newstory.com to discuss your concerns confidentially. We value your feedback and will continue to find the best ways to support our team. Thank you for all that you do for our students and their families!

Pros

There honestly aren't any pros.

Cons

Terrible management, bad people, toxic environment/people, poor facility, bad work environment, greedy owner making money off of disabled children, they don't fix anything, they don't care about you or the kids, you have to buy everything for your own room, expensive healthcare, poor benefits, huge staff turnover, poor everything. I strongly advise not working here if you are interested in this field.
