      Family office run by yes men masquerading as PE Firm; manipulative use of lies and deception of investors by omission of critical facts; no basic analytical skills; lack of talented investment professionals; no room for dissenting opinion; compensation schemes that are not market

      Pros

      High end grocer with a focus on quality and outstanding customer service. Many employees made a lifetime career with Gelsons

      Cons

      Too many changes to long term upper management caused the company to head in a different direction.

      Pros

      Friendly co-workers, raises every few months, and many opportunities to be promoted. Good learning experience if this is your first job. Pay is somewhat better than most other grocery stores.

      Cons

      Breaks are too short for the work days, and sometimes rude management. Very strict on parking in the lot in front of or around the store.
