The network of resources provided to you and by the management allow you to have a conversation about the work you're doing in order to get the best results possible.

Cons

There is a substantial amount of pressure to produce results on tight deadlines due to the nature of the research. This can lead to managers pressuring researchers to take on more than they can handle.

Snacks in the break room, I guess.

Cons

The main challenge is that management doesn’t know what it’s doing and as a result, has hobbled their own development. Their platform is poorly documented and they don’t give you enough time to get familiarized with the platform. There are no developers in management and as a result, the product suffers. They are extremely resistant to refactoring bad code.
