Lack of leadership and lone wolf culture.
Pros
Nice on outset. Oversold product capabilities. Oversold how long it would take to get through hospital vac committees. Held rep personally responsible. Zero interaction between reps. No rankings were ever presented so no comparison to how you were doing per other reps or even rep quotas prior to my onboarding. Leadership knows no one in the west. Strategic reps would not allow “newbies” to travel or observes cases when they flew halfway across country to cover one case in reps territory. Horrible rep to rep relationships. Worst company I’ve ever worked for.
Cons
Zero leadership. Zero actual mentoring or strategy assistance with a 12 state territory. All feedback was positive until it wasn’t and a multiple rep layoff was experienced by new, old, seasoned, top reps and new reps. Inability to lead via best practices, strategic account managers were of zero help or mentoring. Zero re-investment in reps and ZERO need to tell you why reps were being let go. 8 of 12 rep let go all at once says there is a problem at the head of the snake not the body.
