The management does not know how to run a company, they micro-manage everything. And whenever there is crisis, they just ask why you are following rules and procedures but not closing an eye; when they really close an eye for it they then ask for explanation of why you fail to advice the management that this is a violation. The engineering department is narcissistic, they never take advice from front-line colleagues. Even when they design the Cool-Port it seems they don't even know the sizes of ULDs; the Cool-Port facility does not even allow ULDs longer then 10ft being stored - this is a joke in one the the busiest airport in the world. The executives are also not better. They have been kowtowing to both agents and airlines for decades and long forget how to stand up against unreasonable requests. Even if the contract says the closing time for acceptance is 4hrs before STD but when anyone make a ridiculous request of arriving to the warehouse only at 15mins before STD they still push the front-line to accept them, even all of us including those executives knowing that there is no possibility the cargo will be able to make to the plane punctually. Now with the death of Fat Fai, the only manager who would speak for the front-line, it is unclear how voices can be addressed to those management narcissists.
