Pros

Engaging in purpose and assisting a vulnerable population with community mental health services. Flexible schedule, great management, supportive co workers, ability to gain experience and make a difference in people’s lives

Cons

Pay could be better but the time off, benefits and experience balance out the income specifically in the BH field

Pros

It’s OK for a first job

Cons

Upper management doesn’t know anything that is happening above. They really don’t care at all. They are secluded in there offices, gossiping and promoting their friends to upper positions. It is a bunch of white people that only cares about them. It is extremely segregated between the positions. If you’re a BIPOC person there is no chances that you’re going to get promoted one day. Burnout! People leave after six months in the job. The pay rate is so low.
