Pros

Wasn't at the company long enough.

Cons

My colleague tried to get me fired after just two weeks into the job! Apparently, he started a diary on my very first day of things he didn't like about me and the minor mistakes I made, even though I had only just started. He also used the threat-protection software installed throughout the company to spy on everything I was doing, which breaks GDPR laws. HR never presented me with his list of complaints, making it hard to counter with my version of events. And excuses were made as to why I was being spied upon, probably to avoid having to fire him and dodge possibly legal action. I quit weeks later after too much stress and sleepless nights.

Extremely slow moving.

Pros

Great financial benefits. Very good life/work balance...most people are out of the office at 17:00

Cons

Very slow moving, very bureaucratic. Small things takes ages(years) to happen but once you have a decision then things happen quickly. Impossible to get a transfer anywhere else in the world unless you have a really specialist skill.

Pros

Astrata is a great place to work if you're looking for a laid-back, friendly environment. The company has been very successful in the past and has had a lot of momentum

Cons

It's not the best place for career advancement if you're looking to grow your skills and learn from the best. The management power structure is unclear and decisions are often reactive, so it can be difficult to get clarity on where you stand or what direction the company is headed. There is no company vision other than "increase revenue," and goals are never met year after year. Product design is more influenced by big customers' demands and pushy requests from the sales team than a clear innovation process and product/market fit. On the sales side, there is no sales process/strategy (snif, hope and blame the sales reps, the product or the market...) and a very small and amateurish marketing efforts. Don't get me wrong, most of the people who work there are nice, some are even very skilled, but somehow, it's not moving forward, nor backward, nobody knows where it's going.
