Pros
Overall happy! You get to meet and work with the smartest people, get exposure to the cutting edge of tech and develop a deep sense for where AI will take the world. Cash comp is top of market. The culture is open to new ideas and you're encouraged to experiment. AI leverage is everywhere and you're encouraged to learn through access the latest tech (Claude Cowork for example). Finance gets a bad rep for culture but the reality of Atomico is far better.
Cons
Carry comp is not at the levels you would get as an operator in a tech company. There is no compensation transparency - though cash comp is high, you don't know what ranges are or through what mechanics you can get a raise. Also no clarity on how promotions are decided / what it takes to get one.
