Pros

Friendly environment with lots of banter and room for personal friendships. Fun company events at business unit and group level, although this might differ per country-office. Travel opportunities for those in central functions. Motivating and inspirational middle level management but your experience may vary. Decent company benefits, can't complain

Cons

Career opportunities are few, salaries for the young are under scrutiny whilst a large group of rusty senior employees lack skills, motivation and desire to move things forward. Ingrained fear of change, except for a select few in middle and upper management. Large employee turnover, youngsters don't tend to stay very long. Yet the 'golden age' employees stick around long enough for their pension to roll in. This frustrates attempts at innovation, revamping function/roles within the organization, and keeps salaries low for new entries. Legacy IT infrastructure with incompetent management and lackluster unqualified engineers. Department needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.

Pros

Lower level staff are nice people. Christmas party is fun. Canteen on site though vastly overpriced and some awful staff working there.

Cons

Management are awful. Us and them mentality. Dreadful pay. Constant cutbacks and low motivation of staff. Huge culture of bullying and perception based judgement of people. No direction or leadership. Hans Meijer is the lead bully and also the country manager, which tells its own story.
