Pros

There are so many. But my favourite one is ---- Communication. Communication is everything at Aula - If you have any ideas that you would like to work on, they will be welcomed with an open mind and you will be given all the freedom and resources to put these into action. If you have any doubts or fears - professional or personal - you can communicate these too, to your colleagues and you will receive all the support in the world (leaving all things business aside). This company really does fabricate the phrase "Employees before anyone else"

Cons

There are none really. Even if there are, we are constantly trying to improve, everyday :)

Pros

Great peer colleagues to learn from. They are all very knowledgable in their areas of expertise. Remote first organisation. Whilst there is a lot of work to be done, this offers a lot of flexibility. The salary bands are pretty good for the market and sector. There are newer people in the company who are trying to right the ship.

Cons

Where to begin! There is an extreme amount of lip service in the hiring process, which you quickly find to be untrue in practice. I think the source of the vast majority of issues in the company come from the leadership team. They are inexperienced either in their careers or in the sector, and are focussed on individual agendas. There is also a lot of infighting because of this, which trickles down through their respective teams and prevents any issues from being resolved, whilst also creating additional issues. Rather than hear tangible solutions to any problems, their solution is always to just throw more money at something, which only prolongs having to find a real solution anyway. There is rampant favouritism, which I’ve understood to be the norm. On the other side, there is a revolving door of employee turnover, either due to employees discovering the disfunction and leaving, or extremely sudden firings that I have seen of talented people for reasons that are bizarre/seemingly untruthful, discriminatory, or redundancy related. These things are very visible, so I assume most people are looking for jobs elsewhere at any given point in time.
