      Pros

      Great co-workers. Very smart people who know a lot about software / the business. Good work/life balance because there is often "A lot of work to do" according to the business and yet nothing is planned.

      Cons

      Poor development process. Lack of priority for the poor development and product process result in sluggish product development. Lack of awareness around necessary solutions to common problems.

      Pros

      Most people have the best of intentions.

      Cons

      Cannot trust management. Some are not qualified to be in the role. Cannot keep up with industry expectations or user expectations. Zero proactive training. Zero client satisfaction. Company is at the will of a disorganized and well-removed PE.

      Pros

      Most of the none management people that work there. Reasonable hours.

      Cons

      The management! Absolutely horrible leadership. They play favoritism and certain managers will specifically target people they don’t like. There’s promotion based on favoritism, not skill. The management also allows their friends to take long “smoke breaks” multiple times a day. To the point, that they are not available to help the team out most of the time. However, when I was left by myself for a couple hours, and needed to go to the bathroom, I’m the one who got yelled at for leaving the space.
