Challenging and meaningful work; friendly and helpful colleagues; leadership that cares about and supports you as an individual

Cons

Orientation/onboarding process could be more robust. A thorough overview of all of the programs as a part of the new employee orientation materials would be helpful for getting acclimated.

Great place to work

Pros

BBB National Programs is overall a wonderful place to work. Their mission is to create trust and transparency in the consumer and business marketplace and, by working here, you get to see the impact you make on the lives of individuals as well as within the marketplace, such as enforcing truth in advertising and resolving disputes between consumers and businesses. The CEO is relatively new and is doing a great job of growing the organization, by adding new programs, creating a foundation, and enhancing employee benefits. The pay and benefits are competitive, especially for a nonprofit. On top of that, there is good work/life balance and the people who work here are genuinely nice people who want to help one another succeed. The office itself is beautiful. It is brand new with top-notch facilities, including a great gym and nice rooftop lounge/work area.

Cons

We need improvements in technology and consistency of use of platforms throughout the organization (e.g. we have SharePoint but not everyone uses it). Some people have worked here a very long time and are resistant to change. With that said, the executive team is working towards improving technology and, understandably, it is not going to happen overnight.

-Supportive team. Everyone helps each other out. -Management is amazing at giving constant feedback with cases. -Welcoming environment

Cons

Only con I have is sometimes the work can get overbearing and a little stressing.
