Pros

- BBDO is very well known brand globally - Has some very good large clients - Globally the firm has a culture of excellence - Mad Men was based on BBDO so you can throw that as trivia around at parties (if you ever find time to attend one)

Cons

- Extreme work hours. I worked 12 hour days on an average and at least 7-8 hours on Saturdays and Sundays. Most people don't have a life outside of work. - Almost all the employees in the creative team are rich bombay kids for whom the bad pay and bad hours don't matter as they are just looking for a cool gig to get extra pocket money - Only writers are respected, everyone else is a side show - No scope for strategic thinking in India office - Extremely toxic environment where Chairman and CCO India constantly gas lights, backstabs, and demeans employees. He even shouts like a maniac, gives extremely unrealistic deadlines, shows zero appreciation for your work, and constantly seeks ego massages for every little thing he does - No employee support in terms of HR, Canteen, etc. - Extremely disorganised way of working

Pros

Josy Paul is an industry gem.

Cons

No method or process. Horrible leadership. Managers are worse. Extremely understaffed. (Forget work-life balance) HR isn't helpful. Salary offered is usually lesser than other places.

Pros

1. Beautiful office with not too many people. 2. They pay you better than other creative agencies 3. Good for the creative team (not for planning /account management)

Cons

1. Terrible work culture 2. No role for account management 3. All calls taken by Josy or Hemant 4. Top management is Very sarcastic, negative and gives you a very bad feeling 5. Top management doesn't value your opinions, don't even want to listen to your inputs 6. And there's no one who you can reach out to, who can help you hence the attrition rate when it comes to account management team is quite high 7. They want to control how you plan on handling your clients 8. No one bothers when the clients are sending stinkers ... the pace of the work remains the same despite multiple stinkers 9. Internal meetings will be scheduled really late in the night as per josy's preference ... he will make everyone wait for hours
