Cons
Management lacks leadership skills, it’s a boss and employee type relationship. Not an environment to grow as a team in a healthy way. I guess you could say they are megalomaniac‘s.
I've grown at Balani; not only in my position, but also in my self-confidence.
I really enjoy my current position, and how it has evolved over the years, but I mostly want to talk about the management here. I've been at Balani for a couple years now and have been given the opportunity to explore new job duties and really hone-in on my strengths. The best part of my job is my ability to make a difference and have my voice heard. Balani is growing quickly, but our team is small enough that I get to discuss my opinions and suggestions directly with the manager, President, and CEO. Management listens to my ideas and makes changes quickly and effectively. They respond positively to all feedback and really value my opinions.
Cons
You have to be on your toes and ready to adapt. Even though we make custom clothing, it's still fashion, so it is ever changing and evolving. I see this as a positive, but people who like a more consistent work day might struggle with this.
