      Pros

      The energy at Because is contagious. Everyone is focused on the mission of helping older adults, and the leadership (including Alexi) is very approachable. You get a lot of ownership over your projects early on, and the growth opportunities are genuine if you're a self-starter.

      Cons

      Because it's a high-growth environment, things move very quickly. You have to be comfortable with change and ambiguity.

      Pros

      Because is so special. Is it perfect? Of course not, but what employer is. Alexi and Luca are trying to succeed and keep their dream alive. They are doing everything they can to keep the business running as smooth as possible. I appreciate their efforts and transparency.

      Cons

      It’s a startup with high expectations. It’s tough, but I love a good challenge.

      Pros

      Leadership genuinely cares. The mission of helping older adults live independently resonates throughout the company - it's not just a tagline. Fast-paced environment where you can have real impact without layers of bureaucracy. Collaborative culture, smart colleagues, and a lot of autonomy to own your work. The company is growing and there's real opportunity to build something meaningful.

      Cons

      Like any scaling company, processes are still being built out in some areas, so you need to be comfortable with some ambiguity. Not ideal if you want everything buttoned up from day one.
