Most employees are wonderful, kind, intelligent people. Gratis makeup was nice, and the quality of the makeup is good so it’s nice to have it for free.
Cons
If you look up traits of micro-management, founder’s syndrome, and toxic work environment, you will find these as descriptions of the CEO and CFO. They will boast that they have been doing this for 16 years, and take credit for it all, but it is the employees that they overwork and underpay who have done all the hard work. It’s time for them to hang up their hats and retire. They are out of touch with the customers and the industry, and they have no management experience for a company of this size, and the pain-points within the company really show that. Employees frequently cry and suffer panic attacks from being treated poorly by Fergus, who is a toxic boss. He is passive aggressive, disrespectful, rude, and “motivates” employees with fear tactics. He has unrealistic expectations and never gives praise or rewards for hard work. Most days it seems like they don’t even want to be doing this anymore, because they just complain and worry. There are a couple of great candidates within the company now who have more business experience and could be promoted within the company and do a better job running it. They make very hasty and risky decisions, they change their mind constantly, and this kind of behavior within the company leaves all other employees scrambling to keep up and keep customers from getting disappointed. They not only pay employees below industry averages for their positions, they never give bonuses or raises, despite how long people have worked there or the good work they do. They have promised raises and then "forget" to follow through on them. They do not pay overtime to anyone on a salary even if they work a 7 day week with days longer than 12 hours. They call paying out PTO at the end of the year a "bonus" even though employees are entitled to that anyway. That's how they keep people from taking time off throughout the year. Also, every employee gets $300 gratis, whether you are a full time employee or an employee who has been here 1 month and works 4 hours a week. The amount of gratis never changes. And you are not allowed to use it on anything Disney or limited edition.
