Nepotism, incompetence and ego

Recommend

Business outlook

Pros

Competitive product line, large marketing department

Cons

Over reliance on “traction” management style without competent leadership to manage it. Too much nepotism. Too much reliance on inexpensive foreign nationals doing work at the expense of local talent. Insufficient technical staff. Uncompetitive tape program. Fake family atmosphere. Free sodas and snacks instead of competitive salaries. Too much turnover because of low wages.

Unfair and stressful atmosphere

Pros

.Schedule (Mon-Fri) 8-5 .1 hour lunch

Cons

Nepotism is very prevalent here. Moving up / promotions will never happen unless your part of a certain group. Head departments point blame of faults and short comings instead of listening and solving issues collectively. You will be expected to over perform on a daily basis to accommodate growing work loads, when you fall short you will be talked to...not listened to. You will have to woorrk through unrealistic demands and changes from management that show lack of vision and experience. Management wears more than 1 hat, making leadership and vision feel constantly scattered and unmotivating. Favoritism is extremely unavoidable within management.
