Management and HR - They Don't Care About You

Pros

Good place to network and meet people within the sports broadcast business. Good place to gain experience.

Cons

HR and people in upper management are not to be trusted. Confidential conversations are not kept confidential. Accountability is non-existent. HR doesn't care for their employees as people. If you need to talk with someone in HR, you're made to feel as an inconvenience. As an employee, you're just someone to perform a function. Most would prefer a robot.

Co workers, food on football Saturdays

Cons

Depending on the department you're in there's no room for growth. You'll have some people who have been there for years never see a promotion while others who have been there for less time get multiple promotion. They excepted you to do more but won't give you the budget to do it. And then complain when it can't be done.
