Pros
Unlimited PTO, talented hard working co-workers, interesting evolving AR solutions
Cons
New leadership is incredibly toxic and has no problem with bullying and micromanaging aka quiet firing. To be fair not every department is like this. There are some really great people but I had to leave because I could no longer continue to endure the constant daily criticism, negativity and bullying behavior I experienced. It took a toll on me. I got to the point where I definitely felt pushed out. It’s what happens when you are purposely excluded from conversations and only find out things through conversations with others. I refused to work 24/7. I didn’t get paid nearly enough to be expected to answer slack and teams chats at all hours of the night and then be given attitude the next day for not responding. There was nothing critical that couldn’t wait until the next morning. After leaving I needed some time to recover before I felt like I could move on to something new. My experience definitely left a few battle scars but leaving was the best decision for me. I had to prioritize my own well being.
