But we believe in having a wide range in our rates from 140PHP to 230PHP so that high performers can get higher rates and lower performers get lower rates. This is our performance-based system. You need to prove yourself before we start giving higher rates. Yes, it takes time to build up your rate, but our starting rate is significantly higher than many of the other online home-based English schools. Hi there. Thanks for your feedback. Yes, the BIR requirements are a pain initially. But please understand that’s the BIR, not Bizmates. We just enforce the law. If you’ve ever worked for another school and didn’t file taxes as a professional consultant, it is illegal. As a BIR registered professional consultant, you can be a proud tax paying citizen who supports your own government and sleep at night not worrying about being caught by the BIR. On a final note, most trainers say that the whole process with the BIR is actually not that bad once you get used to it. So I hope you can soon get used to it and reap the merits.
