Pros

The company has an international vision on media production, distribution, and advertising. The boss is also willing to give employee opportunities and support for new projects.

Cons

This company is extremely mean on employees' benefits, salary, social insurance, house allowance...... anything you can imagine.

OK place to get started

Pros

If you aspire to write for TV, this is a good place to start as it offers ample opportunity to develop story ideas and write scripts. While living in China, it is also a good place to interact with Chinese colleagues. They are mostly young and open-minded.

Cons

When I worked there the leadership lacked a clear strategy and was indecisive about how to approach the work. The directives came fast and furious; one day one goal, another day a completely different goal. Given the high volume of work within tight turnaround times, the experience can be very draining. Especially when your hard work can easily end up on the dump pile, which happened quiet often. I found it to be a good place to work but not stay long-term.

Pros

Able to have the space to make a TV show

Cons

Very poor management, with lack of clear strategy. Blind pivot after pivot. For a media company they have very dated tastes
