Pros

There are sporadic periods where the overall feel of the company is light and cheerful. Lots of work but the tasks are generally easy

Cons

**After writing all of this I realize that most major production/manufacturing companies probably experience many of these same issues but my hope is that someone who is in a position to change some of this, will see this and want to take action because they value the reputation of the company and want to improve their employees work environment** Constant change of managers in most departments, meaning the way you’re being managed is constantly changing and every time a new one comes in they think they are going to fix every thing for the first few months until the burn-out kicks in and eventually they all start to conform to the “Bocchi Way” which is cutting corners, lying to customers, internal conflict between departments, passing blame off to the lower level workers who are underpaid, unappreciated and over worked most of the time. The company has laid off many employees in the last year causing a lot of people to take in extra responsibilities without being compensated for the extra work. Cutting costs everywhere they can. Problems in the warehouses are never actually fixed and they refuse to spend any money on repairs unless you consistently push the issue and bring up safety concerns which puts a target on your back for speaking up. A lot of undocumented workers here that can’t fight for basic rights and they take full advantage of this. Workers spend years as “temporary employees “ through staffing agencies because they rarely hire direct to the company. Top heavy, way too much going on in upper management yet they’re clueless when it comes to the actual needs and concerns of the ones keeping this place running every day. You never know if you’re going to have work on the weekends until late Friday and you’re expected to show up despite late notice. Seems like every couple of weeks you show up and another handful of people have been fired. Atmosphere encourages lazy work and shortcuts to be taken to increase numbers and productivity until there’s an issue and then upper management acts clueless as to why GMPs and SOPs are not being followed to a T. Pay is way below the industry standard for most of not all positions. Yearly reviews are not to be counted on as they could be passed up year after year. Huge divide between production workers and office personnel. Constant misleading of the customers about issues with products. Issues caused by the outdated and broken machinery is blamed on the components and their vendors. Company values quantity over quality. Condition of all warehouses is very poor, very dirty, and very unsafe at times. Multiple people have been hit by the forklift drivers and at times you are even blamed if you get injured on site. May even been written up or fired. Overtime has been completely wiped out in the last year. Lucky if you get to work two days OT in a month. Lots of fraternization between employees, married or not. Meaning lots of distractions and unprofessionalism. Suggestions made to upper level management regarding safety issues or general changes that can be made to provide a more efficient and productive work environment are ignored and not encouraged whatsoever. More energy spent calling out minor infractions such as fake nails and hairnets not being worn properly than making much needed improvements to the company. Lack of appreciation shown to the employees has created low morale and motivation to go above and beyond for the company.

Not a whole lot to say on pros, it's basically a sweat shop

Cons

No windows for air! Short breaks with not enough time to cool off from heat inside building.
