Pros

Products and assortment are awesome. Support from store support center was phenomenal.

Cons

Senior management was out of touch, and incredibly misogynistic. Favoritism is prolific primarily amongst men and attractive female employees. Expectations of employees is ridiculous. 8 KPI’s which are all imperative to meet of beat otherwise you’re failing in store.

Thank you for your comment. We are an organization that prides itself in inclusion and equality - in fact, our store leadership is 70% female and 30% male and our district leadership is 50% female and 50% male. We are disappointed to see this feedback and encourage you to reach out to our Human Resources team (humanresources@bootbarn.com) to discuss this particular situation. Thank you.

Pros

The best part about the company is the brand itself and the discount. When I think of Bootbarn I think of that true American brand. The company had potential to be that but lacks the clarity on how to get there. For me it was hard to watch a company that could be something so great is settling for mediocre because it's easier.

Cons

Senior leadership is a boys club that that's jumped from company to company together so they know each other well. That being said, if your not in the click it's tough to get your voice heard. The company doesn't have a clear vision on where they want to go but they also don't know how to drive the business foreword. I worked at the corporate office and customer service wasn't a priority. They were so disrespectful to the field teams at times it was hard to watch. There is little communication across the organization for company initiatives. Each department does their own thing in their silo and there is little department partnership.
