Pros
Cactus cuts are yummy! Drinks were cold.
Cons
I got hired here as a bartender. I worked for four hours and saw enough. I never went back. The owners did silly things like glass counts, even going so far to say that it was our responsibility to know exactly what count of glassware, silverware, and dishes were at each table. They told me to reuse coasters (to take them somewhere to dry out before reusing them) put dishes and silverware that weren't used (but were still on a dirty table with people eating and talking around them) back to the clean pile if they weren't "used". The owners were also taking all the tables and tips, even going so far to move their bar's trivia night over to the main restaurant section so that they could take the extra tables that came in for it. One of the owners, Binita also told me that if I were to screw up an order, that l'd be "invited to buy whatever food item at 50% off" I don't even think that it is legal... She also touted over how we get all of our tips here in Washington State as opposed to Texas, where she was from. She said this like she was trying to sell it to me, like she was doing us employees a favor or something. I felt like I was in alternate universe and have never been so disappointed to see a Canadian company (1 am Canadian btw) being brought down by two people who don't care about the restaurant itself. Binita had no idea the company was even Canadian, and had no reaction to me talking about how it was my favorite restaurant as a kid and how the cactus cuts were my favorite. She actually complained about the menu and how corporate is screwing them on some lunch special and that she hopes that they don't take the cactus cuts away. Man, I was really excited to work here and left never wanting go back, even as a customer. Oh, and there is mold growing in their toilets
