The staff has not had a pay increase in 3 years. Secretaries are major overloaded with up to 10 attorneys. Secretaries are unable to do all of their work so paralegals are expected to take on a lot of unbillable time. The morale is the lowest it's been since the Lance Bonner/Kathy Freeman years. The CEO, Rance Sapen, is apparently not in touch with what is going on or ignores it. He seems to hide all staff problems from attorney leadership and thinks that if attorneys are happy, then everyone is happy. There is no advocate for employees. There is no transparency. Staff has no input at all.
Tons of work to do. Lots of food functions, if you're into that. The new HR Director is phenomenal. Best I've ever seen.
Cons
Toxic, favoritism, not inclusive, overworked, horrible medical benefits, no help from management, weird vibes if your new or newer, lying, inappropriate attorney-staff relationships, overall low morale.
