Pros

Sales, ECM, and Production workers are good hardworking people. Very knowledgeable of their jobs.

Cons

Start with a quote: "The supreme quality for leadership is unquestionably integrity. Without it, no real success is possible, no matter whether it is on a section gang, a football field, in an army, or in an office." Dwight D. Eisenhower COO & CTO micromanages to a fault. They are not open to new suggestion but if they do like the idea they will take credit for it. COO & CTO uses Intimidation and Bully tactics during meetings and one on ones. Not limited to using foul, embarrassing language and belittling. When in a conversation and they are tired of listening, they turn and walk away. No respect. Coastal 99 Award, COO & HR pick the same employees year after year and/or new employees and/or employees that are intimidated by management to fill out the survey. Customer Service from Management philosophy is Delay, Delay, Delay (unless they need revenue) To be able to close a deal is a very long tedious process, Account Managers can’t make a calculated decision on their own. Has to be approved by Admin Assistant/HR, then COO. CASNET should use the most updated software they sell. They need to implement a working work flow since they are supposed to be experts in the field. CASNET have monthly events like cook-offs. You are strongly advised to participate and a tally is made on who does or doesn’t bring a dish. Upper management including the COO & CTO and their families participate, many of which are the winners. Also, if you did not bring anything you are told by the COO you have to wait and go to the “Back of the Line.” like children. CASNET has a monthly “Can-Dew” award. The same people get the award month after month for doing, what most people believe is part of their job. It is supposed to be a pat on the back for doing something above your normal job duties. I don’t believe staying late to make extra copies of a proposal or help cleaning up after a meeting qualify. It has become a joke and demoralizing exercise. If you are hired on as Temporary Status don’t expect to be hired soon. There are temps that have been there for over 3 years. The goals to be hired on always changes so to be able to attain hired status can never be achieved. Temps are good for the bottom line. As the COO said when he came on a few years back that “CASNET is only a stepping stone not a Career.” New Hires, make sure you get everything in writing with a signature because promises and policies change depending on who you are. Beware, if the clique doesn’t care for you, you will not last.

Pros

Good base pay and benefits. Some of the people are really nice and really care about the company. Company events are ok as long as you know your place. Good hours in a nice facility in a central location.

Cons

Micromanaged by a group of mean, narrow minded elitists. Every process in the building needs to be re-invented or re-thought. It was virtually impossible to sell anything, and customer service is second to the processes that aren't working. Unsupported, unsolicited cold calling is a dead art. If you do find a prospect, It takes too long to get answers, quotes, service or really anything needed to succeed. There was no collateral to send or leave behind, no organized campaigning, and do not count on your manager to have the information you need. And, when you fail to succeed in this arcane environment, you will be forced to give up or sign a document that will inevitably be held against you when you file for unemployment.

Lies & Empty Promises

Pros

They coworkers there are great. I feel bad because the all deserve better than what they are getting. No other pros

Cons

Commission structure was about half of what was promised at the time of the offer letter. 2500 training bonus was not paid. 34months of mileage was not reimbursed. 4 months of cellphone reimbursement was not given. If you take PTO be prepared to be interrogated by the president and bring a doctors excuse. If you quit with notice you will most likely be axed on the spot. If you quit without notice then you forfeit your PTO balance. The president talks negatively about everyone include his own CTO. Leadership is very petty and childish. Turnover is through the roof for obvious reasons. All around very unprofessional experience from the first week to the end. Surprised they are still in business.
