A completely disorganized ego driven company

Pros

Work from home & build relationships with outside companies.

Cons

Be prepared to work on your own. They will paint a pretty picture as to how the “company” is run and how much support you will receive. Only to quickly realize that is not true. Management is Non existent. However will magically appear when you lack performance. You will be thrown to the wolves and expected to Perform. All upper management either grew up together or have worked together in the past, therefore, it’s a pit of white collar, egotistical men who run this “company.” This is not a company more like a very wealthy man funding a bunch of guys who sit around, changing each other’s titles every 6 months. There is NO diversity. NO organization, NO support. I do NOT recommend any person working for this frat house. Their representation in the industry has been so poorly tarnished due to their lack of accountability and incompetence, that laughter of pity is heard at the mere mention of their name. For whoever is reading this, use this is a sign. There are other companies! I did not get fired or let go, I left due to how poorly this “company” was run.

Pros

Awesome job working with technology in the communications industry. Custom is a growing company with opportunity for advancement. Store hours make it easy to find a work/home balance on most days, of course that will vary in a sales industry. Custom pays sales reps a fair wage with base pay plus commission on everything that you sell. Custom is one of the better indirect dealers to work for in this industry.

Cons

Very high pressure for sales! Too many metrics to hit! There are so many products that At&t sells, and the expectation is to sell everyone of them to every customer. 'Accountability processes' and biweekly action plans create a negative experience leaving employees feeling job scared and unstable.

Opportunity to make money if you can sell Strong product training Sales training and support Multiple products to sell

Cons

Promotion track is very political Policy changes almost every day Encouraged to ride the ethical line Manager and Rep bonuses in different categories, so you are pushed hardest to sell products that don't make you extra money.
