Pros

Not much to say here. The computers we used were top notch. Nice big monitors

Cons

I was insulted many times for simple things. Told I don't know what I doing and why don't I try harder. So I tried to learn more and was then told I was wasting company time and money. My work performance, based on our customers was excellent, but if the customers didn't tell me , I would have never known because management doesn't mention a word. Everybody hates Mondays, I know, but I hated everyday. The management plays favorites and basically does not communicate with the ones that aren't in the "click". I travelled and was told to travel on the weekends. So I spent my weekends away from my family, and was never paid or compensated in anyway for those lost weekends. To top it off, I had my mother come to visit, and gave plenty of advance notice to management. A problem occurred on a project and even though there were others who could fix the problem, they made me travel out the next day to solve the issue. When I arrived, it was determined that the issue was easily fixable remotely. So I wasted my time because management didn't properly assess the problem and was not able to visit with my mother because when I got back, she had to leave. I left shortly after this incident as it was obvious that management had to idea how to handle work-life balance,

Pros

Great opportunity in working directly with world class aerospace companies. Great vacation plan that allows 22 days for those with the company after 4 years, 25days after 5 years and eventually up to 30 days.

Cons

The great vacation days are entirely offset by constantly losing weekends due to travel. This comes with little to no compensation. Traveled 6 times on international trips for an average of 10 days at a time and lost 20 weekend days. Was given back 8 days during annual review only to find out later that at the whim of the VP this was actually 4 days. Left soon thereafter. The pay is simply OK. The management is strictly German and according to their culture the employees in the US are overpaid, but if you want to set up a tech company in the US then expect to pay 50-150k with an average at 100k if 50% travel is part of the recipe. There is no way around this unless high turnover is no concern.

Pros

Management is very direct and personable. Loads of high in demand customers Good Work Load Direct Access to management Compensation can be rewarding if working hard.

Cons

Lots of travel with very minimal notice. Depending on the position you get, potential for learning new skills is either really high or low. Not too demanding of work load, but due to travel, work/life balance is terrible. Con of a direct access to management means lots of micromanagement.
