      Blatant favouritism of certain staff over others. People often ‘disappear’ never to be seen again Flat structure - limited opportunities to progress Various ethical issues

We do have a flat structure here; we are a small company and try to avoid too many hierarchies however we do ensure all open roles are made available to employees to provide opportunities for progression and work closely with our management to ensure every employee has a development plan.       Good place to work but with flaws

      Pros

      - Really lovely people in the company which makes coming to the office enjoyable. - Good, supportive and welcoming work culture - Good benefits - Lots of D&I events available and volunteer opportunities - Strong focus on Learning and Development

      Cons

      - Nepotism, favouritism and bias are rampant - Low salaries in comparison to industry standard and lack of salary transparency. Many good employees have left due to better offers elsewhere. - Terrible pay review process - Limited opportunities for progression in certain departments - Random sackings/people “disappearing” - Extremely heavy workload - Some tech and systems are outdated - Excessive drinking culture - Good employees are overlooked - Slow to implement changes - Lots of office politics - Not open to title changes - Some people in senior positions are inexperienced and don’t really know what they are doing - Can be unprofessional at times - Work life balance isn’t always great - some staff work on weekends or work very long hours

      - Great people and great atmosphere - Good social aspect to the company - Good opportunities to use initiative and take on your own responsibility - Making steps to address HR policies / pay brackets

      Cons

      - Sometimes patronise staff - Quite high pressured environment - Favouritism is rife - Pay isnt necessarily on par with the rest of the market so it feels like you could work less elsewhere and get paid more - Start up vibe would not be suited to all / the easily offended

      CEO is a top guy. Looks after his people and doesn’t take himself too seriously and is a humble guy. Growing dynamic company with great potential.
