Pros

Coworkers: Formed life-long professional relationships •Office Environment: Bright and inviting space with plenty of windows

Cons

Leadership: The CEO’s authoritative style means that treating people with dignity and respect is an option rather than a standard. disregarding the input of his talented staff and frequently losing his temper, the work environment is unpredictable and toxic. The pressure to “stop resisting” and compromise my integrity was a weekly challenge that became increasingly unbearable. •Culture: While the company preaches a positive culture, the CEO falls short of practicing it. The disconnect between stated values and actual behavior creates confusion and uncertainty about what is considered acceptable behavior. •Leadership Development: DISC Personality Insights is the singular development tool at CPT, but unfortunately this approach is overly simplistic, applied rigidly, and is weaponized. •Nepotism: Nepotism at all levels affects decision-making, leadership dynamics, and results in a lack of trust that decisions are being made ethically and objectively. •Compensation: Pay not competitive and bonus structure nonexistent. •Benefits: The benefits package is also below average—expensive, unreliable, not competitive •Flexibility: CEO believes that remote work permits employees to slack off. At the same time, employees are expected to handle more than a full-time workload, requiring early morning and late evening work-from-home to get the job done… doesn’t make sense and is a total scam. •Turnover: High turnover rates lead to operational and corporate issues, preventing meaningful progress in any area and perpetuating an unstable infrastructure. •Growth: Despite efforts toward growth, the company struggles to achieve it due to the issues I’ve mentioned. Without significant changes to executive leadership, culture, and core principles, meaningful growth will never actualize.
