While it is a small non-profit, it has a vibrant and dedicated staff of experts that are accessible from day one.

Pros
The office is located minutes away from Dupont Circle which makes getting to work a breeze. The people are always very friendly and willing to help you in any way they can. There is alway a fresh pot of coffee and bottled water for everyone. Plus, it is nice to work in an environment where they trust you to get your work done without having to constantly be breathing down your neck (like some of the other places I have worked have done).
Cons
Since it is a small non-profit the potential for growth for a new professional is limited. However, if you are interested in the particular issues that they deal with (mainly tax legislation and reform) then this is a great place to be able to learn from some of the progressive tax thinkers.
